It just dawned on me that I hadn’t swung through and gave any word on what’s been poppin’ lately! Maaaan.. What a nutty ride it’s been. Mad technical issues (including equipment failures) have really set me back recently. I’m in the process of having those things repaired so that I can get back to the grindstone. The good news is that a new album has long since been in the works and will continue forth once things get back to normal. What a fxckin’ beast this new one is, too! Expect complete and utter demolition when it touches down. The bitch is a monster. Hopefully I’ll have some new audio in the near future for you to see exactly for yourself what I mean.

Shout out to all the fans, supporters, and friends that have remained ever faithful and loyal to the Murda Mitten Menace. I really appreciate all of you. Some cats have really went out of their way to hollar at a dude just to see if I’m doing okay, and it’s very appreciated. Thanks a ton.

I promise I’m alive, doing good, and working full time on the new album. The setbacks have been a real bxtch, but I guess you can’t just jump to having a baby without the labor pains, right? The MPC died completely, a motherboard fried completely the fxck out, a right monitor blew, and every conceivable thing in between. Shxt like that is bound to happen when you’re running nothin’ but pure crack through your audio system, though. I’ll manage.

It’s the return of the God Emcee.. Ra, baby. I grew up on this man’s shxt. “Paid In Full” got so much play in my deck that I wore the cassette right out. I also loved his “Know The Ledge” piece from the “Juice” soundtrack. Flawless rhymes. Impeccable timing. The dude is just flat out the last of a dying breed.  This shxt ought to go super hard, judging on the single “Walk These Streets (Feat. Maino)” alone. True Hip-Hop… And there just ain’t enough of that comin’ out these days. I’m lookin’ forward to it.

For those not that acquainted with the Detroit music scene, Dogmatic is one-half of the dynamic duo comprised of himself and Proof Of D12 (RIP) known as “Promatic”. He was aslo the first emcee ever to yell out the 313 area code on an album, and is a highly respected pioneer in the Michigan Hip-Hop circuit.

Menacide & McNastee recently hooked up with the legendary Detroit emcee for some superb, premo Hip-Hop shit, the details of which are to be announced at a later date. Also, word from Dogmatic himself, is that a new Promatic record was already recorded prior to Big Proof’s passing, and is scheduled to be released sometime in January 2010, entitled “Promatic 2″.

Menacide, McNastee, and the 13% camp would like to show much love to the big homey Dogmatic, who definitely showed us plenty of it himself! More details in the future!

To celebrate the season of the wicked each year……. Fxck it, ya’ll already know what time it is and who started it! This year, Crossworm was named the successor and coordinator to Menacide’s “Devil’z Nite” compilation series released each year. This year’s offering was pretty sick, featuring the likes of Grewsum, Mars, Crossworm, Trips, Renigade, and many more. And of course… Them Hittaz boys (Menacide & McNastee) came through with the sickness!

Wuttup ya’ll? What’s real in your world? I just wanted to take some time to come give everyone an update on what’s been crackin’ behind the scenes. I apologize for the lack of updates of info in the past months, but it’s been deliberate. When I escape to work on new material, I have to really
wrap my head around the music and get in my zone. This is why you haven’t seen me posting around much.. I’ve simply been in the lab workin’ my ass off on the greatest album you’ve ever heard from me thus far. That’s a promise.

I really had the urge many times to come on here and do several things.. Update you on how the recording progress is coming, let you hear snippets, and all that good shit. But I decided that things were going so incredible in the studio, that I should probably just stay focused on not hype anything up before it’s time. This is why you haven’t heard much from me.

I break away from the scene to get in my zone every time I begin work on something new. It’s just the way I do. When that happens, rumors usually start to float around that I’ve quit, or people assume that I’m just chillin’ behind the scenes doin’ other life-related shit. The truth is that I’m bustin’ ass. Believe me. I want you mother fuckers to hear this record so bad that I can hardly stand it anymore! That chance will come sometime in the early quarter of 2010 – It’s almomst a definite.

In the meantime, I’m still in the lab mixing chemicals and doing alchemy until I get those explosions – Or “chasing the flame”, as most musicans call it. I just wanted to take some time to thank you all for your support over the years. It means the world to a dude. And that’s why what you hear from me next will be nothing less than crack. Bank on it!
